Instead of replacing the complete intake system, this upgrade allows current Eventuri customers to benefit from the latest airflow improvements and engineering refinements while retaining the remainder of their existing intake components. Designed specifically for the Honda Civic Type R FK2, the V3 turbo tube delivers increased airflow capacity, improved turbo efficiency, and stronger engine response throughout the rev range.
Manufactured from pre-preg carbon fiber, the V3 turbo tube features a significantly larger internal diameter than the original factory component, increasing from 78 mm at the intake side to 88 mm, compared to the OEM 63 mm inlet. This substantial increase in cross-sectional area dramatically reduces airflow restriction while allowing a greater volume of air to reach the turbocharger. Every internal surface has been carefully engineered to maintain smooth, laminar airflow, minimizing turbulence and helping the turbocharger spool more efficiently under all driving conditions.
In addition to its airflow improvements, the carbon fiber construction acts as an effective thermal barrier. Unlike the factory aluminum inlet, which transfers heat directly from the turbocharger into the intake charge, the pre-preg carbon fiber tube significantly reduces heat transfer. Eventuri also isolates the tube from direct turbo contact through a specially designed silicone connector, further minimizing heat soak and helping maintain lower intake temperatures during repeated acceleration and demanding driving conditions.
The V3 upgrade delivers measurable performance improvements, including gains of approximately 9 horsepower, 9 ft-lb of torque at peak, and 15 horsepower with 18 ft-lb of torque below 4,000 RPM.
